The Simple Heart was a vision born from the mind of a woman with a beautiful heart. Debbie grew up outside of the city but it wasn't until she met her husband and moved to the country that she truly found 'home'.

Her inspiration for her creations can be found all around her any given day. From the birds in the trees to the fresh cut hay, her love for the country bursts out of her work. Her value of hardwork comes from the active beef cattle and cash crop family farm that she lives on, and with this you know through your purchase or interaction with her that her goal is you being happy with the gift you're giving or the perfect piece for that one place in your home.

A note from Debbie:

In the creative world, no 2 things can be exactly alike. One can try, but size variations can be off by small margins, ribbons can be similar and then something else has changed. I do all I can to bring to the table the very best that I can produce.

When in a description, I say 'hand cut', I mean, literally, it has been brought to a saw and cut by hand. If a say 'locally sourced', I mean literally, I have walked out into the field, the swamp, the bush, personally to pick the right kind of thing for the finished product. And if I say 'personalized', I mean that literally, I did it by hand. I do NOT say these things to be rude or arrogant. I say them because sometimes people think that you computer generate everything and rub on names or words.

These works are from my simple heart, created from scratch or as close to it as I can. I love the challenge of personalization. I want to make you happy. I will do as much as I can with the special requests, and honest if I don't think it can be done.

Please help me by understanding that the measurements given in descriptions might be off by small margins, but close. Length to me, is how long the article is from top to bottom. Width to me, is how wide the article is from side to side. Thickness to me, is how deep it goes from back to front. These are just parameters to give an idea.

And, please, please, doublecheck your spellings of things you wish to be personalized! For example, I know 10 ways to spell Ashley. Everyone is unique. I want to do it right. I really more than anything, want you to be happy.
